Dream Big – Read! At the Bradford County Library

BURLINGTON, PA -- Kids can stay sharp this summer by joining the Reading Club at the Bradford County Library. Reading six books or more can help them maintain what they learned over the school year. Sign-up starts on Monday June 18th. The theme this year is “Dream Big - Read.” Children will be given reading logs to keep track of their progress. Prizes will be given for every 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 hours of reading. The last day to record time spent reading is Friday August 6th.
Evenings are meant for school-age children with programs starting at 6 p.m. Preschool story time will continue on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Our first evening program will be Wednesday June 20th at 6 p.m. We will read “Owls” by Gail Gibbons and dissect owl pellets. The Bradford County Library is located on Route 6, midway between Troy and Towanda. For any questions call the Library at 297-2436 during library hours: Monday-Thursday 8 A.M. to 8 P.M., Friday 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Saturday 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
