Leroy G. Robinson, 58 of (Evergreen), New Albany, passed away as the result of a farming accident, on Tuesday evening, July 3, 2012 at the family farm.
Leroy was born on June 25, 1954 a son of George and Lucille Kobbe Robinson in Sayre. He worked their family farm after school and has worked as a truck driver for Formula One Feeds for the last 25 years, and continued to work the farm, one of his greatest loves.
Leroy married the former Debra Tourscher on June 21, 1980 and celebrated 32 years of marriage.
The family and farming were his greatest joys in life, and he loved being outdoors.
Leroy is survived by his wife Debra at home; three children, John Robinson of New Albany, Jill and Charlie Deubler of Mehoopany, and Jacob "Jake" Robinson of Evergreen; two brothers, David Larrabee and Ray and Ann Robinson; and six grandchildren Logan, Taylor, Mikie Compton, Kaylee, an unborn grand-daughter Lela and Colton.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2012 in the Russell P. McHenry Funeral Home, 119 Carpenter St., Dushore. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday July 9, at the Evergreen Christian Church, of Evergreen, New Albany with Pastor Michael Dodd and Pastor Harold Carr of the Moxie Church presiding.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
