Summer Reading Program Hosted by Athens Library

Spalding Memorial Library, located at 724 South Main, Athens, has several very special events planned for the upcoming statewide summer reading program: "Spotlight on Reading, be a STAR at your local Library."
"Get the Beat Program" will be presented on June the 11th from 6:30-7:30p.m. at the library. Children ages kindergarten through grade 5 are invited to attend this summer reading program. Fun-filled activities related to dance, with Camice Bishop of Athens will be presented. FREE. For information, call the library at 888-7117.
